Most of us would have been in bed for the 1AM clash between Real Madrid and AC Milan for the World Football Challenge but we would have wished we kept our eyes open.
Madrid fired five goals past the Rossoneri at Yankee Stadium with Cristiano Ronaldo grabbing two of the goals.
Angel Di Maria opened the scoring with a spectacular strike and Robinho scored a well worked equaliser after the half hour to make the score 1-1 at half-time.
But in the second half Madrid and Ronaldo turned on the style. The Portuguese smashed Madrid back in front before adding his second and Madrid’s third on 65 minutes.
Sergio Ramos headed in Kaka’s corner for 4-1 and Jose Maria Callejon made it a fantastic five towards the end of the ninety minutes.

Real Madrid will feature in one more match on American soil as they take on SPL Champions Celtic at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday at 6:30 pm GMT.
