You thought some of the challenges in Sunday league football were bad, check out this challenge in South Africa! Orlando Pirates right back Rooi Mahamutsa gets a little bit frustrated in the Pirates semi final 1st leg MTN8 against Supersport United a couple of days ago as Thabiso Nkona and his two little men know all too well! Surely it is part of the guy code to never hit another guy in the ball knackers!?
Rooi has since apologized to his club and said: “I would like to apologise to my team-mates and the supporters for my red card,I did not mean to kick the player, my intention was to clear the ball and not to hack the player from behind.”
“It was a terrible accident and I deeply regret having done what I did. I would like to apologise to the team as well as the supporters for letting them down.”
Nice of him to aplogise and all that, but I don’t quite believe him! Do you?
