The big announcement from Wembley has been made as Roy Hodgson names his 23 man squad to board the plane for this summers Euro 2012 tournament in 2012.
The 23 players that have been named are;
Goalkeepers:
Joe Hart, John Ruddy, Rob Green
Defenders:
Glenn Johnson, Phil Jones, John Terry , Jolean Lescott, Gary Cahill, Leighton Baines, Ashley Cole
Midfielders:
Scott Parker, Frank Lampard, Gareth Barry, Ashley Young, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott, Stuart Downing, Steven Gerrard
Forwards:
Wayne Rooney, Danny Wellbeck, Andy Carrol, Jermaine Defoe
Standby Players:
Joran Henderson, Daniel Sturridge, Adam Johnson, Jagielka
The likes of Rio Ferdinand, Peter Crouch, and Micah Richards will be disappointed to lose out, while Oxlade Chamberlain, and John Ruddy will be looking forward to pulling on the England shirt for the first time.
