Who would have thought? One minute Redknapp looks destined for the England job, the next minute he find’s himself without a job at all, as he leaves Spurs.
Apparently, it is due to Spurs not offering Redknapp a sufficient extension to his current one year contract. This is a bit of a shock considering how far Redkanpp has taken the club in the last few years, but Spurs seem to be following the summer Premier League trend of finding a new manager!
The scary thing for Spurs fans will be the potential exodus of players such as Modric, Bale and Van der Vaart, unless the club can bring in a big name manager to hold these players down and attract even bigger names!
It is sad to see Redknapp go, but it will be interesting to see who the club bring. Check out the Spurs official statement to break the news this morning…

“This decision in no way detracts from the excellent work Harry has done during his time with the club and I should like to thank him for his achievements and contribution.”
