Fernando Torres has had an extremely difficult time since he joined Chelsea in January and is yet to score this season. With pressure mounting on the Spanish forward the last thing he needed was the English Media trying to make his life even more difficult at Stamford Bridge!!
But that is exactly what the English Media have been trying to do as they enticed Chelsea to investigate a Torres interview he gave to Spanish television while away with the national team.
The English media reported that Torres claimed his Chelsea team mates of being ‘old’ and ‘slow’!
Needless to say the comments were lost in translation and somewhat fabricated to stir up some more controversy around the Torres situation.
This is why you have to love, hate or simply laugh at the English media… It might be me, but I cant hear a single negative comment!
